Churches in Holbrook Parish

St Michael's, Holbrook, Derbyshire

Holbrook Belper

St Michael's is a traditional parish church with a strong musical identity. Our services comprise a mixture of Common Worship and Book of Common prayer services and the organ and choir lead the worship each week. Members of the community join the choir for the village carol service and annual cantata on Good Friday.

There is a monthly fellowship group mainly attended by those who are retired held jointly with the Methodist church and a midweek service and coffee morning on a monthly basis.

Regular concerts, organ recitals and fund raising social events are held to bring the community together and enable the sustainability of the church building.

The church is registered as an Eco Church and works with the village Green team to develop the wildlife found in its churchyard.
